Through our waking and sleeping lives, we are assailed by scripts: by the voices in our head telling us we are not good enough, not clever enough, not successful enough, not spiritual enough, don’t meditate enough…..and by the more insidious attitudes and belief systems that create the structure and texture of our days: the world is hard; humanity is evil; however hard we work, we are never going to change things….

Our thoughts, our beliefs, our attitudes – all arise from a complex mix of the environment we grew up in and our interaction with it. We are striving for change, or we wouldn’t be practicing a spiritual path, but this change can often feel uphill, against the inevitable vicissitudes of fate and our own inner saboteurs and judges.

We limit ourselves. We don’t have to. Nobody can say where the unlimited version of ourselves is going, but it has to be better than walking the same old, same old, for the rest of our lives. It won’t happen in two days, but we can open the doors and start the path.

Learning to step beyond the scripts – to find joy in the world – can transform our practice and our lives, can change our energy, our DNA, and the legacy we leave to future generations so that our children and their children don’t have to grow with the same inner textures we inherited.

Thus, the intent of this workshop is to explore the ways we can connect to the wild joy of the universal heart-mind in a way that feels authentic, grounded, rooted in our own life’s experience, so that we can embody it in the never-ending now and let go of the scripts and self beliefs.

In doing so, we become the inner warriors that our world needs: equipped with the tools for evolution that will take each of us – and so our culture and our world – into a future in which we all flourish.

As ever, this is a gateway, but it is not a gated course – if you’ve been on a foundation course, you are welcome to come, wherever you are on the wheel.
