Foundation Course

The Foundation Course is a requirement for all other courses that we offer. Over a weekend, from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, we will explore the basic tools of shamanic dreaming and journeying, and the ways they may safely be used to ask the questions that matter most to our lives. We will learn the function and relevance of the medicine wheel in contemporary shamanic practice. The aim is that you will go home with a set of relevant tools that can help you find greater personal authenticity and integrity in your lives and that you will understand how to use them safely. You will be introduced to the outline of future courses. The in-person course will also offer a healing circle.
The online courses are aimed at people who are based outside of the UK and unable to attend an in-person residential course. They are held at USA friendly times – the finer details are within the booking link.

Between the Gates
ONLINE: Sunday 14th December 2025, 6-8pm GMT
Join us at the solstice for a session designed to turn your focus from your current gate, towards your next. This is open to anyone who has done at least a Foundation and will most likely include a Q&A session for anything has been arising in your Dreaming, and a guided journey led by Manda.

Fire Gate

You must have attended a Foundation Course to come to Fire Gate.
Fire is the first of the Gates. This is the East, the spark, the kindling of new creation, of risk, of joy, of poetry, of sexuality, of new beginnings and sudden endings. Fire brings new life and it destroys.
This weekend is the beginning of a relationship, the opening of a gate into all that fire represents for us: each of us is different, each of us builds a different relationship. This is your chance to deepen your relationship with fire and the east.

Earth Gate
IN-PERSON: 12th – 14th September 2025
ONLINE: 26th – 28th September 2025
IN-PERSON: 8th – 10th May 2026 (1 space remaining)
You must have attended a Fire Gate before coming to Earth Gate.
Earth is the second gate we meet as we progress around the circle. This is the West, the place of the stone people, of the Earth, of the going down of the sun, of the looks-within. This is the place of the Nurturing Parent within us, place of grounding, of self-compassion and the wisdom that arises from matching our heart beat to the heart beat of the Earth in all its forms. This is also the place of the deepest dreaming – which is death, and all the gifts it brings.
This weekend is the beginning of a relationship, the opening of a gate to the Earth. Each of us is different, each of us builds a different relationship. This is your chance to spark or to deepen your relationship with earth, stone, darkness – all that is the West.
You will be offered the opportunity to sit out on the earth for the duration of darkness (or whatever fraction of this feels right to you) so please come equipped for all weathers and all temperatures.

South Gate

Centre Gate
IN-PERSON: 29th – 31st May 2026
After the four gates of the elements and the parts of the self – Fire/Joy child; Earth/Nurturing Parent; Water/Trust child; Wind/Guardian Parent, we step into the centre, the place of the sacred human from which we speak our truth of ourselves and to ourselves.
This is the place where we stand in balance between the four directions, the four elements, the four parts of ourselves, and all that each has taught us. This is where we find our voice. This is where we meet the reflection of our true self and find our authenticity so that we might walk forward in trust that we are living with integrity and no part of ourselves is being left unheard.
This gate completes the first cycle of the wheel and so you must have done all four elemental gates before booking the course.

Advanced Healing
DATES TBC
On this FIVE day healing course we’ll build on the learnings from the Basic and Intermediate Healing courses and explore more ways we can sense energy and move it in ourselves and each other, further building the capacity to act as a channel for healing. We will learn Extractions and Soul Retrievals.
To come, you need to have been on a Basic and Intermediate Healing course or to have come on the Advanced course before, to be confident in your journeying, and have a fluent connection with your healing guide.
